- Sushi rice 320 g
- Nori 8 g

- Smoked eel 80 g
For the bento
- Broccoli 50 g
- Sesame sauce 30 g
- Apples 2 slice
- Tamagoyaki omelette 80 g
- Chicken strips 2 pcs
Directions
Step 1
Lay out all the ingredients in front of you. Prepare the tamagoyaki omelette, chicken strips, and steam the broccoli.
Step 2

Prepare the sushi rice. Cover the rice with water and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse it under running water until the water running off the rice is completely clear. Strain the rice through a sieve and let it dry for 15-20 minutes. Mix all the dressing ingredients and heat them. Simmer the sauce until the sugar and salt crystals are completely dissolved and the liquid resembles a light syrup.
Step 3

Cover the rice with water, add the kombu seaweed, and bring to a boil. As soon as the water starts to boil, remove the seaweed. Cover the rice with a lid and reduce the heat to a minimum. Let the rice cook for 10 minutes. Remove the rice from the heat and let it steam in the pot for another 20 minutes. Transfer the rice to a wooden tub, pour the dressing over it, and using a wooden paddle, gently fold the dressing into the rice. Once the rice becomes sticky, it's ready to use.
Step 4

Prepare the onigiri filling. Take the cooked eel out of the package and place it on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 180°C oven for 6 minutes. Blend the smoked tuna with the cream and cream cheese. Slice the salmon into 1.5 cm wide pieces. Add the cream cheese and cream and blend until smooth.
Step 5

Cut the nori sheets into 6x2 cm rectangles. With wet hands, form the onigiri, placing the eel or salmon cream in the center. Press a nori rectangle onto the bottom of the onigiri and place it in the bento box.
Step 6

Arrange all the prepared components in the lunch box, carefully placing them: onigiri, omelette, strips, broccoli. Cut the apple into small cubes and place them alongside.
