Ingredients
- Hard Cheese 100 g
- Potatoes 4 pcs
- Salt 0.5 tsp
- Bread Flour 2 tbsp
- Ground Black Pepper 0.5 tsp
- Sweet Paprika 0.5 tsp
- Nutmeg 1 pinch
- Vegetable Oil 2 tbsp
- Chicken Egg 1 pcs
Directions
Step 1

Wash and peel the potatoes. Prepare a pot, a bowl, and a skillet.
Step 2

Cut the potatoes into 3–4 pieces and place them in the pot. Cover with water so it almost completely covers the tubers. Place over high heat and bring the water to a boil. Reduce the heat under the pot to medium, add salt to the water. Boil the potatoes until tender for 15–20 minutes.
Step 3

Drain the water and transfer the potatoes to a bowl. Mash the potatoes into a puree using a masher. Add the egg, flour, and spices. Mix everything well until a smooth dough forms.
Step 4

Cut the cheese into 1–1.5 cm cubes. Form round patties from the potato dough, about 6–7 cm in diameter. Place 3–4 cheese cubes in the center of each patty. Pinch the edges of the patty tightly, hiding the cheese inside, and shape the patties into a disc form.
Step 5

Pour vegetable oil into the skillet and heat it over medium heat. Place the formed patties and fry on one side for 3–4 minutes until a caramel-golden crust forms. Flip the zrazy and fry on the other side for another 3–4 minutes until a crust forms.
Step 6

Serve the potato zrazy with your favorite sauce.
